On February 23, Tatum Schroeder began the biggest fight of her life. On February 22, she went to the ER where tests were ran after being ill for several weeks. She was transferred to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics where it was discovered that she had Acute Myeloid Leukemia. On February 25th, Tatum began chemotherapy only 3 days into this journey. As of now she will be in and out of the hospital for 6 months as she receives treatment. After that her medical team will reassess.

Tatum is known for strength and her athletic abilities. She is a fighter! Let's help support the Schroeder family in this fight against cancer.

Her parents and siblings will have added expenses during this period that should not affect their time together.
