Kindergarten Camp @ N2N Outreach
Donation protected
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! THANK YOU! For any additional donations, money will be put towards a developmental library where parents can check out developmentally appropriate toys and books for their growing children! :)
First Five is a new program designed to equip parents for kindergarten readiness. The first five years of a child's life often shape the trajectory of their future. Many children in low income communities enter Kindergarten academically behind. This achievement gap only broadens as students progress throughout school.
As teachers, we firmly believe that education is the single most important factor to end generational poverty. We also believe that parents should become their child's first teacher and advocate for a successful future. Therefore, we are hosting First Five's first ever Kindergarten Camp!
We have asked many restaurants in the area for donations to provide dinner for families who attend, but we have not heard back. This is where you come in!
Things we need to make our first ever Kindergarten Camp a reality:
- Donations for & serving a meal or part of a meal
- Childcare, because who doesn't want to play with
adorable children?!

***Money donated will provide take home materials for parents
***Money donated will also go towards meals for the Kindergarten Camp catered by "Neighbor Cater" who's primary goal is to create job opportunities for aspiring cooks, chefs and caters in under-resourced and under-employed SE Raleigh Communities. Neighbor Cater is owned and managed by members of the SE Raleigh community and is a branch under the non-profit Neighbor to Neighbor Outreach
