Carman Crew Relief Fund

Donation protected

Carman often said that he had the best team traveling with him than ever before. They were family, not just a road crew. Carman always did his best to take care of them personally and financially when they were on the road. His sudden death has shattered their world. They loved him like family and are heartbroken to lose him so suddenly.

Carman always valued being very transparent with his friends and fans. He was all about the ministry so every dollar that came in, went back out into the ministry to reach people. Many would assume that after such a successful career, Carman was a very wealthy man. He could’ve been but that wasn’t his heart. Carman always funded most of the ministry expenses out of his own pocket.

Last year, when the Covid crisis began, Carman made the decision to continue touring as much as he could because he believed it was important to give people hope while facing such worldwide fear. Due to Covid restrictions and precautions, the tour that was set up to be 90 concerts ended up being about 40 for the year. His biggest fear was that his crew would have to leave and find other jobs but not one left him. They waited. They stayed loyal to their friend. That was a financial hardship for all of them but they were willing to do it. The last three months due to health issues and Covid, Carman was only able to go on the road for a couple concerts. The crew that was already struggling was hoping to make it to March when the tour resumed schedule. Then the news came that Carman had passed away. Immediately they were grieving their friend and also realizing that they are unemployed. It's virtually impossible right now to quickly go get another job in the music industry due to Covid. We want to make sure that these families are taken care of. That was Carman‘s priority. He was working on ways to make sure their families were taken care of even before he passed.

Some people may question the timing of this and think it’s too soon or that it’s callous. We understand those concerns but these families need help today, not in a month. This fundraiser comes under the organization of Carman World Outreach and with the blessing of his family. They want to make sure that the people that loved and took care of Carman are taken care of. All of the money raised will go directly to families in Carman’s road crew. We ask that you help by  by helping these families just get through the next couple of months while they find employment. The more we can raise the more we can help them. We also ask that you refrain from questioning motives because this comes straight from the heart of Carman and what he would desire. We wish that time was not urgent, but when bills are due and food needs to be bought, time is not a luxury many have. We want to help these families face the uncertainty of the days and weeks ahead

Each of the members of the crew were with Carman through the Covid crisis and the months lost to health issues. These funds will help the families of the tour road manager Matt Felts, product manager Joseph Reed and his production manager Isaac Blalock.

What if we reach our goal? We keep going. It means  we can make a bigger impact on these families. Let’s see how big we can bless them. Thank you for all of your support. We appreciate your love and dedication to Carman's ministry.

The funds will be distributed directly to the former crew members who were with Carman on the road through Covid and his health crisis. We have continued to stay in touch with each of them. They are tremendously thankful.
