Hello, our names are Shannon Acton Case and Sydney Lynn, we are very close friends of the Kaiser family. On June 19, 2023, our beautiful Mary suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. Mary was quickly airlifted to St. Joseph’s Barrows Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ where it was determined she suffered a massive brain bleed that spread from one side of her brain to the other. Mary spent 3+ weeks in the hospital and has since been transferred to a post-acute rehabilitation facility where we are praying for a miracle in her recovery. As of today, July, 25th, the Drs have seen little to no progress but we know Mary is a fierce, strong warrior! We have faith and believe in time, Mary will begin to respond to the physical demands of rehab under the care of her wonderful, hopeful and caring nurses and Doctors. With this GoFundMe, first and foremost we are asking for your thoughts and prayers for Mary. In addition, we would also like to ask for donations to help the Kaiser family with medical expenses they have incurred thus far, as well as any expenses that will come in the months ahead. All donations will help ensure Mary continues to receive the best level of care possible while she takes her time to recover from such a traumatic event.
