Hi! I’m Clea Poklemba, I am a senior at Corvallis High School in Corvallis, OR. I have been selected to play on the U20 Team USA that will be competing at the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Wroclaw, Poland this summer. I also played on this team when we won gold in Lecco, Italy in 2014. Playing on this team two years ago was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had and I am super excited for another chance to play on such a fantastic team. Any support is immensely appreciated (yes, just sharing this counts)!


So why ultimate you ask? Well, I discovered ultimate the summer before I started 6th grade and fell in love with it right away. Not only is it a great sport, the people that play it are amazing. I have never been on a team that is more accepting and cares more about making people better than my ultimate team. My freshman year was the first year my high school had its own team, split from what used to be a Corvallis club team. That first year we would end up taking 2nd to last at mixed states. This year we took second place at mixed states and won the spirit award. Growing with this team has helped me grow as a player and they will be family forever. Anyways, ulitmate: because it is a great sport full of great people.
