Tilly’s travels !!!

I have always been told to believe in my dreams and anything is possible, my biggest dream has always been to travel and explore the world.Howevee this dream is no longer going to be a possibility for much longer

ny name is Tilly I am 17 (18 this may) and I have a rare eye diseases called Stargardts. Stargarts is a rare eye condition that affects a persons central visions I have no central vision and very limited peripheral vision. I lost most of my site at age 9 however over the years my site has rapidly deteriorated. I have always held onto the fact that I would always have my peripheral vision as it is only in rare cases that the disease I have spreads to other areas of the eye such as the peripheral vision, however on a very recent trip to the hospital the news was broken to me that I am one of those very rare cases and in a very short space of time the disease has spread and my peripheral cells in my eye have become damaged and are dying meaning it is unknown how long I have any site left for.

This news absolutely broke me and turned my whole world upside down as it has always been my wildest dream and biggest goal to explore and see the beautiful world around me.

I have decided to set up this GoFundMe in order to fund towards possibly my last ever travel opportunity with the limited site I have left that soon in the future I will no longer have a tool. It would mean the world to me to be able to hold onto any last visual memories from travelling as I will no longer be able to experience these memories through site anymore..

I would love to be able to see the sand beneath my feet for the last time, the palm trees swaying in the wind, the crystal clear oceans and the smile on my family’s faces as we watch the sunsets on an evening set along the beachfront.
