6 Lobiteños - 1 Dream

For the last 10 years, Ride for the Cause (R4tC) has been supporting WAVES for Development in Lobitos, which we are beyond grateful for! The 10th and maybe last R4tC will take place this summer in Switzerland. It is our dream to be able to assist and participate in this huge event. We would be stocked to see what R4tC really is about, as we have only heard about it from stories we have been told or from videos we've seen. Also we would love to meet the people who participate in this event, the sponsors of Waves for Development, have a chat with them and share our view of the project with them. Of course it is also a unique opportunity to visit Switzerland, since, as you can imagine, none of us has ever been out of Peru!  Imagine us doing stand up paddle on a Swiss lake, eating cheese fondue and taking pictures with swiss cows!

This sounds like a crazy dream, but here is the good news: we only have to collect funds to cover transportation costs (basically our flights), since our accommodation and food will be Provided by R4tC team members.
Help us make this crazy dream come true!

-Your money is needed for the transportation Lobitos- Montreux (specially the flight tickets Lima-Zürich)

-We would visit Switzerland over a Period of 2 weeks

-Food and accomodation would be provided by the team of Ride for the Cause

Este verano será el décimo y quizás el último evento de Ride for the Cause en Suiza. Los últimos 10 años Waves for Development ha sido apoyado por Ride for the Cause por lo que estamos muy agradecidos. Esta vez nuestro sueño es de participar nosotros mismos en el evento ya que podría ser la última vez que se realice. Nos encantaría ver lo que Ride for the Cause es en realidad ya que solo lo conocemos de relatos y videos. También nos gustaría conocer a la gente que participa en el evento, ya que son los patrocinadores de Waves for Development, conversar con ellos y mostrarles nuestro punto de vista sobre el proyecto. Y lógicamente sería emocionante de conocer Suiza, dado que la mayoría de nosotros nunca en nuestras vidas hemos estado fuera de Perú. Imagínate a nosotros haciendo Stand up Paddle en un lago suizo, comiendo Fondue y tomándonos fotos con vacas suizas!!!
