Dana's Heart

As many of you know, Dana has been fighting cancer since 2013.  She has fought long and hard and been able to stay with us longer than any of the doctors expected, but despite her strong fight, the cancer is unstoppable. It has spread throughout her body, and a few weeks ago, she was gaining fluid in her lungs. The doctors drained them twice and finally had to put in a tube, so Greg can empty it himself. This has caused a further decline and this week she was put on hospice and is unfortunately no longer able to communicate with those she loves.


Greg and Gabe and many of her close friends have been by her side through the struggle of the past few weeks. Dana's close friends would like to set up this page, so those that love Dana and have been touched by her can help Greg and Gabe in her honor.  Greg will need to take off work without pay to help care for Dana in these last days. The medical bills have piled up and there will be funeral costs as well.  Anything you can give will go to help recover these costs as Dana moves into her final days with us.  We appreciate your prayers as we all say goodbye to someone who is everything to us.
