Baby Harper Manalaysay was born on January 5th, 2020 at University of Sto. Thomas Hospital in Manila, Philippines with HYPOGLYCEMIA, SEPSIS and HIGH RISK PNEUMONIA. After birth, he had to stay in Neonatal ICU (NICU) for 2 weeks due to these illnesses. Since then, Baby Harper was in and out of the hospital for quite a while . Last month, Baby Harper had to go back to the hospital and this time it's at the Pediatric ICU (PICU) at Mother Theresa of Calcutta Medical Center, San Fernando Pampanga, Philippines due to RECURRENT PNEUMONIA, GERD and possible MULTIPLE CONGENITAL ANOMALIES. His Pneumonia keeps relapsing. He is with intubator right now and feeding through Nasogastric tube (NGT). There are so many medical procedures and surgeries that need to be done on him and as of April 22nd, their hospital bill is already at P650,000 Philippine peso (approx $18,500 CAD). Baby Harper's young parents Hyron Manalaysay and Aleena Teja are from Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines and are both students. Aleena's mom is the one supporting them financially. Due to Covid19 Pandemic and lockdown in the Philipines she is not able to earn money. Like everyone of us, they are struggling at this time and would like to ask if any of you can contribute to help baby Harper. Any amount is much appreciated and will go towards helping pay the medical bills that are piling up. Thank you for your consideration and generosity and if you are unable to contribute at this time we understand and ask that you please SHARE this message to give baby Harper a chance to live, and to please include him in your prayers.
I am Gen Reyes from Calgary, Alberta. I am Hyron Manalaysay's (baby Harper's dad) cousin. When I saw Hyron's post in Facebook asking for help for baby Harper's hospital bills, I felt so sorry and would love to help them so bad, but I am also struggling financially right now due to this pandemic. So I decided to organize this campaign. Please help me spread the word. Thank you so much.
