Hi, my name is Clinton Knapp!! In 2009 I was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and just a few months later had a heart transplant. Thanks to my donor I was able to watch my lil boy grow into a young man. Then blessed with a little girl who is now 10 yrs old. Approximately a year ago my doctors told me that I needed to be                re- transplanted. In June of this year I got the call saying I was officially placed back on the transplant list. Then, just a week after receiving that great news my wife and I was sitting in the hospital as my 14 year old son was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. It’s so unreal that 14 years after me he would be given a fate so similar to mine. He himself has been placed on the transplant list officially on August 23, 2023. August 24th they said a heart was available but, due to some bad weather the heart could not be delivered in a safe and timely manner so we had to let that heart go to someone else in need. August 27th, 2023 he was transplanted and I still await my second heart. Anything you would be willing to donate makes a difference and will help.
