Trevor’s Brain Cancer Fight X3

Donation protected
UPDATED Trevor was initially diagnosed with Grade 4 medulloblastoma at the age of 14 on 2-12-15 at St Louis Children's Hospital..  He completed his first treatment in March of 2016. Trevor has suffered late effects of treatment such as chronic nausea and adrenal insufficiency. In Feb of 2019, Trevor was almost 3 years out of treatment when a new tumor appeared on a routine scan and he was in relapse.  He underwent treatment at UF in a clinical trial called REMATCH.  He continues visits with His Nemours team in Jacksonville, FL. In Jan 2020, he was pronounced no evidence of disease, but sadly relapsed 2 months later.  His cancer spread in his spine with regrowth in his brain stem with leptomenigeal disease.  There are now too many tumors to count.  He did 20 palliative treatments of radiation. And entered a new trial in Augusta,Ga for Indoximod.  He remains in the trial, but his disease has progressed and he is now under hospice care. His condition has declined and now requires assistive devices for mobility and assistance with daily activities. He maintains an amazing positive spirit.
Previously: Trevor needs all of our help. My nephew, Trevor is no stranger to fighting. He has already fought brain cancer twice (Medulloblastoma) under the care of a highly skilled team of neuroscientists, surgeons and doctors. Unfortunately, his most recent rematch study participation which included a stem cell transplant and development of a unique vaccination designed to identify and attack new cancer cell growth, have also failed. Since all traditional means to battle this cancer have been exhausted, we are now seeking all alternative means of battling Trevors cancer including the latest trial he is in located in Augusta GA.

Unfortunately his tumor is wrapped around his pituitary stem and optic nerve. surgery is not possible without causing significant damage. Trevor has failed all other "standard of care" treatments including chemotherapy and radiation. The huge amounts of chemo and doses he got last August were the big guys, yet his tumor has proven to be resistant to that and to radiation.

We are looking to the friends and family we love and trust to help us help Trevor continue on his journey to healing and peace. He plans to stay in this new trial in hopes it slows progression.

Please share Trevor’s journey. Please spare $5 or $10 if you can. We are desperate and need funds to even begin this journey.
