Neonatal Kitten Incubator

Donation protected
When I get the call to take in a fragile neonatal kitten, I immediately spring into action and ready my kitten room. I get a warming source started and prep all my supplies. Temperature regulation is step one and critical to their survival. This comes before feeding! Without an incubator, we rely on other heat sources such as microwavable warming discs or heating pads. Still, these aren’t consistent sources and come with their challenges.

I am known on Instagram as Tiny Kitten Nuggets, and I foster primarily for the AWLA Kitten College with the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. Occasionally, I help out my local animal shelter (Prince William County Animal Shelter) and NoVA Pets Alive with bottle-fed kittens or challenging cases.

My pictures feature Shortbread, one of my 2021 fosters. Sadly, she crossed the rainbow bridge. I don’t mean to imply not having an incubator is why she didn’t make it, but it would have sure been nice to have it! After I lost her in May, I told myself I would make getting an incubator a goal by the end of this year.

I plan to purchase the Rcom Bird Brooder incubator. If any additional funds are raised, they will go to my rescue partners.
