Help Save The Farm!

Hi Everyone,

I am Savannah Flynn of Flynn Farms, a small-scale veteran/minority owned certified organic farm operation just outside Bellingham, WA and I am asking your help with saving the farm.

For those of you who don't know me, the past 21 months I have been Pre-loading at UPS, where 100% of my income goes directly to employee pay. Sadly, due to a horrible back injury this year, I have been in an ongoing L&I Claim and received notice while at work this morning that I can no longer be at UPS until I am completely healed.

Collecting partial pay benefits does not allow me to work any other job according to L&I. 

I will be on a state claim now meaning my pay will be reduced by 40%. So, coupled with not being allowed to work any other job while on this claim, I cannot commit to the remainder of my season, and we still have many bountiful months left.

Therefore, out of devastation sprinkled with some resilience, I am creating this fundraiser to help keep employment so the farm does not have to cancel the remainder of the year for all of our Farm Share Members, Buyers, and Supporters.
