Help Daniel Recover
Donation protected
Daniel Eisenberg is a loving son, supportive friend to many, dedicated entrepreneur, and an amazing fiancé to me. He is an incredibly selfless person and in 2010, he put on a synchronized Christmas Light Show called “Lights on Evergreen” in Demarest, New Jersey, in honor and memory of his Mom, Lena, and raised $50,000 for the American Heart Association.
On Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, Daniel suffered an injury from a diving accident in a sand bar that caused him to be instantly paralyzed from the neck down. Daniel was rushed to the hospital completely unconscious, where he underwent an intense emergency spinal cord surgery. Although Daniel is paralyzed from the neck down as a quadriplegic, he is in good spirits and ready to give it his all in his first week of therapy. The road to recovery will be long and intense and Daniel will need a lot of love and support from the people around him.
As you all can imagine, the circumstances place a huge financial burden on Daniel and his family. Daniel and I will be unable to work, and I will be his full time caretaker. We will incur many medical expenses and a large amount of out of pocket costs. This leads me to the reason for the creation of this GoFundMe page.
In efforts to help Daniel and his family to avoid incurring debt from his medical costs, we ask for your help. It’s going to be an emotional and long recovery process but with your help and donations we can help lighten the load. The funds raised will go towards Daniels electric scooter for mobility/transportation, medical bills, intense rehabilitation training, and modifications within his residence for easier accessibility/safety. No donation is too small and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your help and prayers.
