Food truck dreams!

Donation protected
Im Donny, a 37yr old father of 3boys.
I am currently trying to start my own business.
I’d be bringing a decent SOURDOUGH pizza to my new home (Southern Oregon). I moved from Northern Ca after a close call with fires. The family wanted a fresh start and honestly couldn’t keep up with bills there.
I’ve done many things in my life from tattooing to fedex delivery and everything in between. Always looking for something that brought me happiness but could also take care of my family.. but things happen and dreams change.. and I came to think.. what do I Not hate doing and could do all day with my eyes closed?!
My very first job, one of my favorites, was at 15 in a local pizza place. I learned how to prep and get busy making pizzas quickly and effectively. Through out my life, I’d move around and travel and pizza was always a way I could pay the bills. I’ve worked at 5-6 different pizzas places. All with totally different styles, flavors and techniques and presentations.
I’ve learned what I like, and don’t.
I have been perfecting my own style and flavors and ideas for a menu.
Since moving to Oregon I’ve started working at an artisan bakery (Rise Up!), baking, doin delivery, even working the farmers markets for them, here I’ve met many amazing local vendors for veggies, cheeses, meats and everything else, I’ve been curating relationships, as well as recipes.
All this will help in my dream of doing a thin crust sourdough pizza, using the best tasting local ingredients while following in the old world Napoli style.
Simple ingredients, and as few ingredients as possible in my dough and sauce. Letting the original flavors speak for themselves..
my sauce that has a nice little kick to it!!
For the last year or so I’ve been selling raw dough and sauce (to take home and bake yourself) here and there locally and even made some merch (shirts), started a social media presence and been doing a whole lot of networking, but getting the extra money to buy a truck isn’t something I can currently do on my own.
This brings us to go fund me, I felt asking for a whole food truck might be a little much, cause they can run $30-100k easy..
So this goal is to buy a small portable oven, ingredients, tenting, and all the websites and paperwork, licensing etc to get started so I can start selling my pizzas at the markets, locally for catering events and many other places. Slowly building up my name and then working my way up to a foodtruck or a small store front eventually.
My coworkers have also set up a small event /fundraiser in December to help towards a truck .. problem is I need my own oven to be able to make the pizzas, to show potential investors!
So this is a shot in the dark but worth a try!

Trying to combine my love of pizza and my fun rocker style to make something truly unique for my guests and bring a good honest pie to my community for a decent price.
thank you for taking the time to read this, and even if you don’t donate, please feel free to share any and everywhere.
