Brandi's Brain Cancer Battle

Hello, my name is Brandi. I am 34 yrs old with a 10 yr old son and 8 yr old daughter. I reside in Daytona Beach, FL. I am a stage 3 breast cancer survivor.  On Halloween, I had a stroke, amongst friends and had to be rushed to the hospital. After getting scans done, they discovered 2 masses on my brain and they suspected it to be the cancer. After being diagnosed with IDC and going through 16 rounds of chemo, 30 rounds of radiation and 4 major surgeries including a dbl mastectomy in 2016, the cancer has returned to my brain as a stage 4. I had emergency brain surgery on November 2nd in which they were able to remove most of the mass which is a blessing. I started radiation on November 26th and ended on December 5th with a total of 5 treatments. We are awaiting that praise report that it's all gone! I am supposed to start getting a shot and chemo in the form of a pill, this way, itll be suppressed. Even though Drs are saying one thing, GOD says another!! I have had HHA (Nurse) come to my home along with occupational, physical and even a speech therapist to help gain my strength back. Ontop of having dangerously Chronic Hypertension, which is uncontrolled even on meds for it. This hasn't been an easy journey, especially considering that I've been down this road before.  Being in this position has made it difficult to work and as determined and eager as I am to return to work, physically I can't. Being cut down to one income is hard especially when I'm used to being independent so this bothers me more than you know. To have to ask for help is bothersome but I've learned that we've all fell short and needed help and I'm not ashamed to say I'm in need of financial assistance. Because unfortunately, even with sickness, bills don't stop rolling in and kids don't stop growing. So whatever you can give will be gladly appreciated. Nothing is too small.
