The Sorensen Family

Meet the Sorensens! This beautiful family consists of Papa Brian, Mama Nicole, Oliver (4), Gwen (3), Walter (22 mo.), and Vincent (1 month). Our friends have recently fallen on hard times. Less than three months ago, they were involved in a single car accident leaving them without a vehicle for some time. Nicole, being a stay at home mom and 8 months pregnant wasn't able to leave the house for a few weeks! Not more than a couple of weeks after the accident, Brian lost his job. Thankfully, he was able to find work again, working on a Night Shift for a contracting company for Conoco Phillips. Baby Vincent was born on Christmas! Everything was fine and mama and baby are so well and healthy. All seemed to going wonderfully until they went for baby Vinny's three week check up. On the way to the appointment, an individual pulled out in front of them! The vehicle flipped over a few times leaving Nicole bruised and Brian with a broken back, knee, and ankle. By the grace of God, none of the children were injured. Unfortunately, Brian and Nicole had just purchased the used SUV to transport their family, dipping into savings to supply a basic need for the family. Now Brian will be unable to work until he is recovered. Nicole builds her home and cares for her children and now will be caring for her husband in the meantime, as well.
