Steve and Sallie's recovery

Steve and Sallie were in a car accident on Sunday, October 18, around 3:30 PM. They were hit head-on by a woman traveling the opposite direction, and she was killed instantly. My parents were trapped in their vehicle until paramedics arrived and cut them out. Sallie suffered from a cracked sternum, cracked L3 vertibrae, six broken ribs, a broken ankle and a broken forearm. Steve's injuries consist of a broken left foot/toes, and a shattered right heel bone. Both suffered from typical concussions, and Sallie had a lung and heart contusion. There were no serious internal injuries though! 

After witnessing so many friends, coworkers, and community members express their care via texts, calls and visits, our family thought we would provide an option for people to help financially if they felt led. God has provided more than we could have ever imagined, and we already feel blessed beyond belief. We are hoping this fund might help ease stress with smaller immediate bills/expenses that Steve's overtime during the football season provides. Above all, we are asking for continued prayers for a smooth recovery process and complete healing.
