Tom’s Fight Against Cancer

So many of you have gotten to know Tom by watching him rescue hundreds of animals at Alexis and Tom’s Wildcare, and now he could use some rescuing himself.
A few months ago, Tom received a devastating and life altering diagnosis of multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood and bones.
A few weeks later the news got worse, as a rare more aggressive cancer, Plasma cell leukemia was also confirmed. This horrible disease caused his spine and bones to become extremely brittle and break, resulting in a loss of mobility and a painful, long difficult road to recovery.
Tom has the biggest heart for others, and I have never once seen him turn away from someone in need. He has always given selflessly to the animals, and is the best friend anyone could ever hope to have. This world needs more big hearts like his, and we can’t afford to lose him.
Currently there is no cure for PCL, and all funds raised will go towards finding and getting the best treatment available
