Support for Katie Strobel and her Family

After searching for answers for the lump in her breast in March and being disregarded by doctors as mastitis and breastfeeding issues, Katie Strobel was diagnosed with Stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer this week. Our worlds have been flipped upside down as we try and wrap our heads around the news.

Katie is only 28 years old. She married her college sweetheart at 21, and they started their family soon after. Katie is a mom to three perfect kiddos. Maggie is 6, Claire is 4, and Bo is 11 months old. Sam, her husband, is currently finishing his training, and they are trying their best for him to have the opportunity to do that.

We know Katie will kick cancer's butt; we also know we have a long journey ahead. The medical procedures have already begun, and she hates that she can’t be there for her babies. Money will be used for gas (for the hour commute Katie has to the hospital for treatments), unforeseen expenses, and childcare for her three kids.

Katie is not just my best friend, she’s my sister, my future matron of honor, and I consider her family a part of mine. Please consider donating anything you can to help Katie’s family in this challenging time.
