Support for Brooke Arnold’s family

I grew up with Matt. We hung out together. We played sports together. We worked together. For a couple of years, we lived together. For the majority of my life there was not a better, more decent person I had met.

Then I met Brooke. Immediately there was a realization that the best person I knew may have found a better partner.

Brooke and Matt had a happy marriage. Of that marriage came a happy daughter (Maisy). Brooke and Matt fostered another little girl (Mya).

Brooke and Matt's happy years will forever hang in the chambers of time. Yet those days were all too brief.

Brooke fell ill far too young. An aggressive form of breast cancer took hold.

Brooke fought. Brooke fought hard. As the weeks turned to months, as the prayers poured in, as the love rained down, Brooke fought on. And with Matt always by her side.

I am not one to cry. Yet, as I type these words tears run down my cheek. Brooke recently passed away after her long battle with cancer. A brave battle. A valiant battle. Gone far too soon.

Brooke leaves behind her husband, Matt. Brooke leaves behind their two-year-old daughter, Maisy. Brooke leaves behind a family and friends that loved her. Brooke leaves behind me. And Brooke leaves behind you.

The obvious medical and funeral expenses have piled up. If you are reading this and if you are able, please chip in and help Brooke's family after this long taxing battle. If you knew Brooke and if you know Matt, you know of their generous nature. They would give you the shirt off their back despite the bitter cold. They would give you their last sip of water despite the scorching heat. They are the best of us. Please give what you can.
