Connie McClanahan Memorial Fund

A Grandmother's love knows no distance.

Connie McClanahan was many things; an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved her 5 grandchildren more than anything in the world.  Keeping her memory alive in the minds of those children was very important to her.  

Connie passed away at just 56 years old on Thursday, May 21st surrounded by her family.  She was diagnosed in January 2015 with extensive small cell lung cancer that had spread to her bones.  She fought hard for 4 straight months, never once losing her positive "I will beat this" attitude.  Connie took care of EVERYONE above herself and it will bring her great pleasure to be able to continue taking care of others from Heaven.  

We will celebrate her beautiful life on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Meyer Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati, OH 45248.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation that will be used to fund a 529 plan for two of her grandchildren, Haydn (age 6) and Harlee (age 1), helping them to shape a bright future.
