Our mom, Sandy is in the midst of a great fight against Acute Myeloid Luekemia. She has battled this disease since Christmas of 2017 with the utmost of courage and bravery during the multiple chemo treatments, hospital stays and doctors visits. She is truly undeserving of this disease, yet continues to be a light to her family, friends, doctors and nurses - always putting others’ needs before her own.
We are at the point now where chemo treatments are just keeping the cancer at bay and it is necessary for her to undergo a bone marrow transplant. This is a very extensive and expensive treatment, requiring her to be in the hospital for one month and obtain housing nearby Moffit for the next few months until she is cleared by her doctors to go home. She will be required to take expensive medications and continue with ongoing tests and medications throughout her recovery. All money donated will go towards medical and doctor bills, living expenses for her family, and travel expenses needed for her care and support.
Most important your prayers are needed! Our God is able to do above what we ask. He is her Rock and pray she will continue to receive the comfort she needs from Him.
