Hi, my name is Ronnie, and I am the proud papa of this amazing girl. Emily was a special girl. Even though she was blind, wheelchair-bound, non-verbal, and suffered from seizures, you never saw her without a smile on her face. Emily truly loved life. Emily was full of energy, loved being around family and friends, and always brought a smile to everyone's face. If you knew Emily, you loved Emily. Unfortunately, Emily was taken from our family on September 1, 2021, at 5:55 AM at just 15 years old due to COVID-19.

Emily loved music, cruises, and dancing in her wheelchair. She was in 10th grade and absolutely loved school, especially the bus ride to and from school. Most of all Emily loved her family and friends. Her face would light up anytime someone would speak to her. Her sister was her best friend. They enjoyed going on walks outside, swinging, and she loved when her sister would sing to her. Bailey, their lab, would jump in Emily's bed and snuggle against her, and she would always find a way to pet him. He loved her as much as she loved him. For many years Emily played on a buddy baseball team. She would scream with laughter when she was pushed in her wheelchair from base to base. She participated in Special Olympics and loved every moment of it. We are absolutely devastated, and there are no words to describe how much Emily will be missed by all who knew her.

Emily touched so many lives in her short 15 years we were blessed with her. She truly made the world a better place. Her loss will be felt heavily for a long time to come by her family, friends, and all who loved her. The family has been asked what can be done for us at this time. I started this GoFundMe, and the donations will go towards the funeral expenses, as well as support for Emily's family while they take the time they need to learn a new way of life without an important part of their family, to relish in the memories, share stories, cry, laugh, hug and grieve together. However, your thoughts and prayers are just as needed and appreciated as we all navigate through this together. Thank you for your outpouring of love and support for our family, and most of all for our precious Emily, that is gone too soon.
