VAC Machine for healing wounds

On February 24th two years ago the full-scale war in Ukraine began.

Imagine a city overwhelmed by the horrors of war, where hospitals are bursting at the seams with people bearing horrific wounds from bullets, mines, and explosives. This is the reality in my hometown, Zaporizhzhya, one of the closest major cities to the conflict zone.

Amid it all, the VAC device is a beacon of hope for the wounded. This remarkable technology actively closes wounds, speeds up healing, and prevents infections. It's a lifeline for those facing the prospect of losing limbs to amputation.

But here's the harsh truth: there simply aren't enough VAC machines to go around. Imagine being one of 20 wounded individuals rushed into a hospital, only to find that there are just 3 machines available. The majority of people won't receive the critical treatment they need to recover.

To make matters worse, these machines are constantly breaking down due to the sheer volume of patients they're serving. The hospitals can't afford replacements.

That’s where we come in as volunteers. Together, we can provide new VAC machines to a hospital in my hometown.

Operational Information:

Your donations will directly fund the purchase of VAC machines for a hospital in Zaporizhzhya. I communicate with medical and volunteer personnel to ensure quick procurement and delivery. Our goal is to collect funds at least for 1 VAC machine. If we collect more, we'll get another one.

I'll provide photos and invoices for transparency throughout the whole process as I have done previous times.
