Lovebugs are insects that can only be found in Louisiana, Texas, Florida, and Alabama. They are typically seen flying in May and September. They only live for about four days but they spend most of their time mating. Lovebugs are connected after they mate and fly together. I lived in Louisiana for a few years and wrote a story about Lovebugs 10 years ago which turned into my first animated cartoon movie. At that time, it was too expensive to produce me and to this day it still is.
In this story, Lazuli and Veery are two friends that don’t want to be like regular birds of their flock. Lazuli has just lost the love of his life Sommore, and now doesn't want anyone else in the world to feel love. Each time a Lovebugs connects, they connect two humans, who are then married. After a big storm, the newly hatched Lovebugs are separated from their parents, and now have to find their way home. Unfortunately, Lazuli has the plan to capture all the lovebugs so nobody else in the world will ever be in love. Veery his best friend has no idea of his plan.
Lovebugs the film will be starring William L. Johnson, Carlos "HaHa" Davis, and Tanyell Waivers.
William L. Johnson is an American actor and musician who has held starring and prominent roles in many theatrically released projects, including Blue Hill Avenue, Motives 1, Motives 2, Mannsfield 12, Crossover, Doing Hard Time, and Tears of a Clown.
