This is Lydia Allen, a beautiful and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and a true friend to so many. We became best friends in high school, and she's been an inspiration to me ever since. Two years ago, she courageously faced breast cancer and survived stronger with God by her side. She then became an advocate encouraging others fighting their own battle with cancer. She has recently learned that the cancer has returned. It has metastasized in several parts of her body including her cervical spine, hip bones, mid-back bone, center chest bone, and two small lesions on her lungs. Having fought this battle before, she knows the difficult road ahead. However, she trusts that God will walk with her every step of the way. As her friends, Terry and I are setting this Go Fund Me account up to help with her medical expenses and loss of wages. We know that she has many friends and family who wish to help, as well. This diagnosis has been heartbreaking to Lydia and her family who thought her cancer battle was over. We hope this Go Fund Me account will relieve some of the financial burden she faces and allow her to begin her fight and recovery. All who know her know that she would be the first to help others.
