Vail Place Ragnar 2021
Vail Place Clubhouses make a significant difference in the lives of people living with mental illnesses. People can find community, friends, purpose, support, and hope at our locations in Uptown Minneapolis and Hopkins.
Running 200+ miles in the Ragnar Relay Race pales in comparison to what our Vail Place community faces every day in the marathon journey of recovery from mental illness. We are members, staff, and supporters who are showing that people with mental illness can run, be physically active, and be part of a community and team like this. We want to reduce stigma and raise visibility that our members do incredible things every day!
Our Vail Place "Stigma Sluggers" are running this Ragnar relay in support and solidarity for the recoveries of our community members - help us support them to continue their journey!
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Vail Place, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Vail Place: Vail Place is a community resource center for adults with serious mental illnesses. We serve as a single point of access and coordination for most everything a person pursuing recovery needs: essential daily living services (housing, employment, health and wellness, etc.); and connections to other critical community resources (medical, dental, benefits, etc.). The uniquely effective Clubhouse Model was, and remains, the foundation of our work.
