Val Menz tragic loss of her beloved horse

Romeo was a black and white, Gypsy Vanner Stallion with as much spirit and joy as his owner and companion, Valerie Menz. The pair spent 16 years together. Whether traveling cross country to different Gypsy shows or running free throughout the extensive horse riding trail in Sussex county, Romeo and Val enjoyed every minute together. When his cecum organ inexplicably and mysteriously began to die, she pulled out all the stops to save Romeo. Val provided what she hoped to be a life-saving surgery. And for a few days it looked like it might work out, but then other very serious complications set in and she was forced to say goodbye to Romeo.
