Valencia DANA fundraiser

My name is Asad Rizvi (aka Silverlining), I am a DJ/Producer from London who lives between Valencia and London. I have launched this fundraiser for victim of the recent DANA catastrophe in the outskirts of Valencia.

The devastation from the recent DANA floods is a horror show beyond all imagination and requires the assistance of the whole world, in light of the failure by local authorities to act appropriately. Families are struggling with loss, with homes swallowed by floodwaters and vital resources cut off. Towns such as Chiva, Utiel, Piccasent, Torrent, Picanya, and many more have suffered immeasurable damage, with the majority of aid being managed by civilian volunteers. Hence, victims are relying almost entirely on donations. As someone who has received such a warm welcome by the people of Valencia on moving here, I feel that using my network to raise funds it the very least I can do during this desperate moment.

The funds will be used to rent transportation and purchase urgent supplies for delivery to collection centres in affected towns. Purchased goods will be personally delivered by trusted members of the Oven team, with whom I have a close relationship, and who have already mobilised hundreds of donations to devastated areas.
