Valencia floods emergency fundraiser

Hi, this is Beth and Miguel and we are fundraising to buy resources such as food, water, hygiene products and medical supplies to support the relief efforts in Valencia following the catastrophic floods.

We are in Spain witnessing the horrors of the flash floods in the Valencia region. Whole towns have been desolated, loved ones are missing and havoc and devastation has been wrecked across the Valencia region following unprecedented rain and floods. We are here in Spain for a few days and have decided to gather our energy to help in whatever way we can. We are coordinating with local relief efforts including the regional government in Valencia and the local council. We have rented a van and delivered resources to the worst hit areas such as Albal, Massanassa, Alfafar and Cataroja. With your donations we have been able to purchase bottles of water, diapers and period products.

This cause is particularly close to our hearts as this disaster has happened in Migue's homeland. We travelled to Spain to help organise a festival to honour a dear friend, Pau, which sadly had to be cancelled due to the extreme weather. Instead, we are called to a different path this weekend, and we hope that we are able to provide the support most needed during this catastrophe.
