Valentine's Day Care Packages for the Homeless

Homelessness affects millions of people across the globe and a research from the United Nations Human Settlement Program even suggests that close to 1.6 or roughly 20% of the entire world population has inadequate shelter. I do not like these statistics, not one bit. And unfortunately, homelessness affects my hometown of Indianapolis very badly, my college town of Bloomington, Indiana, and a person in my family whom I can’t even remember when the last time I saw them was. So, I am going to do something; better yet, WE are going to do something about it. Nobody deserves to be homeless, nobody desires to be homeless, and I’m pretty confident that the homeless don’t want to be homeless. They are people too, they got one shot at this gift of life just like me and you. They seek the same thing we seek, well I hope you guys seek this too: happiness, love, and peace. Valentine's Day is a day for love and appreciation for not just your significant others, but the people in your life. Funny thing is, we are all in each other's lives. We just don’t know it, or at least we can’t physically see or touch each other, but we are all on this earth together. Luckily with how smart we are as humans and the advancement of technology we have a lot of cool stuff and online fundraising! Take 10 to 15 minutes of your time, 1/144th of your day to check out these slides I have prepared and also take some time to explore the links throughout. I do want to caution you, there are some facts in there that are quite depressing so viewers discretion is advised. I am very excited to do this with my brothers, friends, family, and community and will update you all with progress! This is what we are doing
