Valerie Medina Gone to soon..............

Hi, my name is Cynthia Babich and I am assisting the Medina Family at this most difficult time. If you know the Medina Family then you know of their love of family and community.

We are overcome by the passing of Valerie Medina, born and raised in West Carson; she was very young, 45.

This family, like many in our community, have seen more then there fair share of health problems and chronic disease. Valerie spent a great deal of her time helping, caring for and doing whatever needed to be done for her family and her community. We are heart broken to say the least that she is not with us in the physical world and that her life was cut so short so unexpectedly.

Thursday morning she was discovered unresponsive by Gabe, her sole mate. She suffered cardiac arrest in the wee hours of that morning. Family and friends have been in constant prayer hoping for a miracle. The family is beyond grief stricken and not prepared at all to lay Valerie to rest.

This is where I am hoping you, friends, family and those who know of the awesomeness of Valerie and the Medina's can help.

Costs of a funeral, even the most basic are ridiculously high. After some initial checking, which you can only imagine is leaving the family even more distraught, they are now overwhelmed with the costs to complete her life's journey and ensure she rests in peace.

Please honor Valerie's life by helping in whatever way you can. If you would rather send a donation another way please let me know and I can help.

Please keep the family in your prayers. Cynthia Medina has lost her daughter and as you can see in the picture was her right hand.

Valerie loved her family, Gabe, community and the Dodgers.

The hole in our hearts is not reparable but we must prepare for her to rest in peace.
