Valerie O'Gorman's treatment fund
Donation protected
In October 2015, 10-month old Valerie O'Gorman was diagnosed with optic chiasm glioma, an inoperable, cancerous brain tumor located on her optic nerve. Within 2 weeks, she began an intensive chemotherapy treatment, which she is expected to undergo for a year and a half. If successful, this treatment will shrink the tumor and stop it's growth. Fortunately, the tumor is slow-growing and will not likely spread, but she will have to undergo treatment and testing to maintain it for the rest of her life. She will most likely lose all or a percentage of her vision.
In the spirit of the giving season, and to assist in alleviating the cost of her treatment, we are launching this campaign. All proceeds will go directly toward the cost of Val's treatment and care.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
