Van for the Giambalvos
Donation protected
If you know the Giambalvos, you know one of the most amazing families in Northport, Alabama. Samantha and Josh have six children at home, one adult daughter living in Auburn, and one son (Josh’s first child, Brayden) in Heaven. They have fostered 15 children since 2016, and currently have two foster placements. They are active at Church of the Highlands, small business owners, serve families with The Brayden House, and are some of the most generous people you will ever meet. They are also one of the largest and most engaged families around.
As you can imagine, the Giambalvos have an insane schedule that requires dependable transportation. Currently, the minivan (that they bought 7 years ago) does not have enough seats to transport all of them. As the minivan aged, it needed continual repairs. Despite the Giambalvo's efforts to keep up maintenance, the minivan completely died over the weekend. Now they can only transport half of their family at a time and must borrow a larger vehicle if they want to transport everyone. This makes day-to-day scheduling even more challenging.
At this point, the active household of 8+ is in rapid need of a vehicle that can transport their family and all their supplies (wagons, strollers, bags, etc.).
A van large enough to meet their needs and provide long-term use ranges from $60,000 to $100,000. The countdown is on to find and purchase a van quickly. We are praying and believing that God will fully meet their needs through GoFundMe and the generosity of their friends. Many thanks for your prayers and support!
And God is able to bless you abundantly,
so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need,
you will abound in every good work.
