Coffey Park Devestation
Early Monday morning my Aunt Pamela Van Halsema, Uncle Dwayne Mulder, their 3 young kids, Talia, Alicia, Isaac and family dog were among those who lost their home and all of their belongings in the fires in Santa Rosa, CA. Thankfully, they were evacuated to an emergency shelter in time so no one was injured. However, they have lost virtually all of their possessions. Their beloved neighborhood of Coffey Park is gone.
They, like many others, are left now with only the clothes on their back and once the fires are contained they will need to replace their personal effects, buy all clothes, and household goods, as well as find temporary housing elsewhere.
In an effort to help them and others affected, we are hopeful that you will consider a donation so that they can start to rebuild their lives and help to rebuild their beloved community of Coffey Park. All donations will go directly to the family, and they plan to share whatever they can of the funds that are raised with the neighbors on their street. We continue to raise our goal in hopes that the money raised can reach even more families in the Santa Rosa community.
Please feel free to share this post, pray for them and the many families who have been affected, and the firefighters who are continually working to control these devestating fires. We are heartbroken and want to do what we can to help.
