Van impound due to police retaliation

I serve the homeless community as a friend, an activist, and an advocate . I recently was an activist trying to bring awareness to the inhumane displacement by Sacramento sheriff's department of 145 people. on may 1,2019. They have been constantly tormenting them shuffling them with nowhere to go. On 5/18/2019 i went to a meeting when I was approached by a member of the encampment and was told the police were arresting people with nowhere to go. Remember Martin vs Boise states they cannot be criminalized with no adequate shelter. My fiance and i were walking to the scene when the officer came around in front of his truck. He immediately started walking toward me. He said where are your keys place your hands behind your back. Mind you my car was down the street. he then proceeded to call on the walkie that he had on of the protesters in custody. he then told me he was impounding my vehicle. never asked for id never ran plates. he also searched my vehicle and it is on video i told him 2 times he did not have permission to search my vehicle but he did it anyway. An attorney did arrive as well as others who witnessed this blatant act of being targeted. I did ask him what his probable cause was he said i didnt have a license i asked him then that means you were investigating me where he declined. He had no cause as i have never had interaction with the Sherriff department until recent protests where i was compliant in all orders but did remain in practicing my first amendment rights. I have all video and the attorney mentioned is taking my case as protestors are being targets. Remember silence =violence anything that can be put to getting my car out of 30 day impoundment would be greatly appreciated. we  is got whicha total  plufor tow30 sdays which is 1601.  We do have a attorney now filing a federal lawsuit regard the violations of my first amendment rights for retaliation.
