Van Kiser Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Van Kiser forged deep bonds with many he encountered during his adventure laden life. He carried a spiritual piece of each friend with him on his travels, and left his own mark upon the soul of each path he crossed. He has been a child, student, scholar, warrior, dragon slayer, dragon, pirate, poet and parent in the different stages of his life.
He was a proud veteran of the US Army and served in the Infantry with the 82nd Airborne Division and with the 1/506 with the 2nd Infantry Division. There are plenty of us who are left unsure what that really means, but to boil it down for people like me, he was a hard core bad ass.
He leaves behind 9 children, 3 still minors, who will have to navigate the rest of their days without his guidance.
His death has taken his family by great surprise. They are unprepared for the costs of his cremation and memorial. If you are able, please contribute to help ease the demand of finances while they grieve and adapt through this great tragedy. Any and all funds raised will go strictly to his final costs and to the benefit of his children.
Thank you friends.
