Vance Dawson's Family

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Pierre. I met my brother Vance over 35 years ago when we were teenagers in the Navy. Later in life I was his best man and he was mine on our wedding days. I will share some of our many stories later but for now, I'm seeking to help my sis/Vance's wife Laura with anything I can do to relieve her of anything I can. All of you all in the Puget Sound basketball community know Vance's legacy. He didn't do what he did for money. Hoops was his passion! In regular life Vance was a regular working man and family man like many of us. He was one of the wealthiest men I've ever known in what matters most. Family, friends and his community. I don't know what his actual financial situation is/ was. However I imagine with making sure his two girls get their college education amongst other family expenses, there's not a ton of money lying around. He was the breadwinner of his family and sadly he is gone now. I know he touched everyone on different levels and I'm sure all of feel the same as I do. People use the cliche of he was one of a kind too often. All of you that knew Vance know that is not hyperbole with him. My boy entertained and brought joy and laughter to any and all in his orbit. So in remembrancen of one of the best dudes you could ever know or meet, I'm asking anyone and everyone to join me to do whatever is possible to donate to relieve immediate financial burdens for his wife and family. Please consider donating whatever you can. Even if its just passing on tomorrows coffee lol. Thank you in advance and I hope to see all of you at his celebration of his life...P
