Vancouver Family Needs Our Help

This family of 3 needs help after being robbed while away celebrating their son’s victory over beating cancer & right before Christmas, please take the time to read their story….
8 years ago our family got the worst news we had ever received. Our son who was just a day away from his 1st birthday was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Although he (like the true warrior that he is) was victorious in his fight, being diagnosed with a life threatening illness made him eligible for a Wish through the Make a Wish Foundation. So after nearly 4 years of chemo, followed by delays due to Covid last month our family was finally able to set off for the most amazing trip to Florida so he could get his wish of going to Disneyworld and Universal Studios to meet the Minions. It was truly the most wonderful blessing and an unforgettable experience ,thanks to Make A Wish Oregon and Give Kids The World in Florida.
Sadly while we were away, an incredibly heinous crime was taking place back home. Over the course of the five days we were gone, thieves were repeatedly burglarizing our home, helping themselves to nearly the entire contents of our garage. We returned home just 10 days before Christmas to learn that not only did they steal our personal belongings (ALL of Ryan's power tools, hand tools, misc hardware, car audio equipment, R.C. cars, A LOT of his personal diecast car collection and so much more) but also more than half of our Ebay inventory. Leaving us owing more than $200 dollars in refunds for items that had sold but were stolen as well as having to cancel several other orders, costing us hundreds more. As well as the loss of additional income that could have been made from items we took out of inventory. Ryan is still working on it but so far we've had to take down over 70 Ebay listings. We would like to mention however, that thanks to the kindness of family and old friends we still had a lovely Christmas. The value of presence will always outweigh the value of presents!
Unfortunately, this time of year catering is extremely slow for me and now Ryan's Ebay income is practically null. Even though we have faith that we will recover both financially and emotionally, our current situation is devastating. This heinous crime has left us not just struggling to make ends meet, but now we're facing eviction. It's a terrible thing that someone took advantage of us being 2500 miles away celebrating Isaiah's incredible victory over cancer to violate, betray and financially cripple us, hopefully it doesn't ultimately cost us our home.
We know it's a tough time of year to be asking for help but anything you can donate is greatly appreciated! If you are not able to donate we still appreciate you taking the time to read our story, you can still help by praying or meditating about our violators being caught and brought to justice!
Thank you for your time and thank you in advance for your help
