Vandalism is damaging our church and community.

Hello, I'm Fr. Mark Andrew Jones, rector at St Nicholas Episcopal Church in Pompano Beach, FL. We have been a part of the community here since December 6th, 1959.

Our church has been repeatedly vandalized over the past six months. Earlier this week, it happened again, resulting in broken doors and windows, along with the destruction of landscaping, outdoor fixtures, and damage to the vehicle we use to tow the Holy Grill to events where we feed the homeless.

Several local TV news stations covered Wednesday's story by interviewing our staff and myself, airing reports on their afternoon and evening broadcasts.

Over the past several years, we have been struggling to serve our community and keep our ministries, such as the Holy Grill, helping the homeless and under-employed with spirit-lifting hot meals to remain open.

In addition, our property needs to be brought up to code by the City of Pompano Beach mandate.

The added burden of repairing the damage and the need to update our security system jeopardizes our ability to continue providing for our community.

We need your help to overcome this setback and continue providing for the people of our surrounding communities.

We pray for the individual(s) who have created these circumstances. Our Sanctuary is always open to those who need comfort and companionship.

Please help us overcome this burden.

God Bless You,

The Rev Mark Andrew Jones, B.S.G.
Rector- St Nicholas Episcopal Church, Pompano Beach, FL.
