Annie VanGeest's Family Memorial Fund

The West Michigan animal rescue community lost one of its staunchest supporters and advocates on Monday.
Annie VanGeest died unexpectedly Monday.
We are heartbroken.
Annie had a heart full of unconditional love.
She volunteered with Carol’s Ferals, and was instrumental in its TNR program, and played a significant role in their 2014 ArtPrize entry.
She was employed by CSNIP, where she put her marketing degree to use, tirelessly promoting spay/neuter.
She fostered dogs through Luvnpupz, helping them overcome abuse and abandonment to become thriving, loving pets.
She lived on a small farm, and her menagerie included cats, ducks, goats, chickens, dogs, and any other animal that needed a safe refuge.
But most of all, Annie was a wonderful mom to her four beautiful children.
She threw herself into mothering them whole-heartedly, whether she had girl time by sharing Starbuck frappuccinos with her eldest daughter, snuggling with her youngest son and their dogs, or proudly displaying the new business cards for her husband of 13 years, Adam “Goose” VanGeest.
We hope you will contribute to this GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses and create scholarship funds for her children.
And we hope that you will share your personal stories so that Adam can tell their children of all the amazing things Annie accomplished in her too-short life.
We know that somehow Annie has convinced St. Peter to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge so that she can spend all eternity loving on pets.
God bless you, Annie, and God bless your family.
