Hi, my name is Natasha Gonzales, and I’m fundraising for one of my best friend’s, and her daughter, who were tragically taken from us on Tuesday night in a house fire in Downey.

We are all so heartbroken, in disbelief, and still in shock. This news to our Downey community has been devastating to everyone who knew, and loved the family.

The outpouring of offered support has been amazing, we thank you.

We just want you to know that Vannessa passed trying to save her daughter, whom also passed the next day. She was the sweetest, and anyone who knew her would say the same. She was a devoted, hard working mother to her 4 kids, in which two of her boys have autism. Her job was not easy, but she did it with grace, and a smile. She leaves behind her 3 other children, who currently have nothing at the moment. We are actively collecting clothes, shoes, and some presents for them.

We are hoping this fundraiser will help with funeral arrangements, housing, clothes, shoes, food, and all necessities. There was two homes lost in this fire, and the 3 other children are displaced out of the city of Downey that they called home. We understand it’s the holidays, but no donation is too small, and it all could add up to help out this family who’s Christmas has been rocked up side down.
