Help Support Our Cricket Family and Communities in Vanuatu
On Tuesday the 17th of December, Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu was hit with a 7.3 magnitude earthquake, the worst of this century.
The earthquake has caused widespread devastation, impacting the families and loved ones of our Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) players, staff, and the broader cricket community.
The death toll continues to rise, countless homes and other buildings have been damaged, communities are struggling, and immediate access to essentials like clean drinking water, food, and electricity is urgently needed.
In addition to the fundraising efforts happening in Australia, we have opened this fund for those who are not able to attend these events and want an opportunity to contribute.
How Your Donation Helps
Funds raised will go directly towards providing critical assistance by:
Providing clean drinking water, food, and emergency supplies to affected families.
Supply of temporary solutions and relief before electricity and other vital utilities are reconnected.
Rebuilding and stabilising homes and buildings that were damaged during the earthquake.
Supporting the ongoing recovery of communities connected to the VCA.
Vanuatu Cricket is More Than Just a Sport
Cricket in Vanuatu is at the heart of many families and communities. It brings people together, empowers local youth, and promotes resilience in the face of challenges. Now, it’s our turn to come together for them.
Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference in helping those who have lost so much.
Please share and support this cause. Together, we can help rebuild lives and give hope to our Vanuatu Cricket family.
The allocation of funds will be overseen by the Vanuatu Cricket Association Board. 100% of the money received will go directly towards approved relief projects. No administration fees, overheads, or other charges will be deducted to facilitate this support.
