Varna Street Cat Fundraiser for medicines and foods

Just a few words from me to introduce the reason behind this GOFUNDME campaign.

Our dear friend has been giving all her spare time and money to help the street cats of Varna for a few years now. I have seen her help and kindness firsthand and met many of the cats during several visits to Varna. I have been donating CBD oils for 2 years for some of the conditions that these cats are suffering.

Our dear friend's work is selfless and all the care, food/medical treatments come from her own finances.

So I am reaching out to all of our friends and all animal lovers for some support for our friend in difficult times as any help will go directly to helping the cats that she cares for. A very deserving cause!

I’m Hristiana!

For the last 5 years I’ve been dedicated to helping and supporting the homeless cats in Bulgaria /Varna city to heal, feed and care for more than 200 cats, many of which have already been healed and now live in beautiful homes and are healthy and loved..

The situation here with the street cats is very worrying and I’m devastated that I have reached all my financial limits and I can’t manage to handle this on my own.

Today I made the decision to try and reach to all my friends for help.

With the support of my dear best friend Andy Jaggers who knows all of my worries and sleepless nights I have had due to the circumstances around trying to help and provide medical care to these little angels.

I want to kindly ask my friends who aren’t in a difficult position and are happy to lend a hand to help me even with a small donation to cover unpaid vet’s bills and to provide food and medical care for the cats in Varna that I’m looking after.

There are many ongoing cases that still need help and medications. An eye operation that must take place soon, a cat with FIP disease, one with Panleukopenia and a few that need urgent medical treatment for Calicivirus. 14 are also waiting to be vaccinated. All of this has come from my own finances but now I am past my financial limit.

Also there are many that need to be castrated to slightly reduce the number of population.

I know that we are living in difficult times and that there are many people in need, but these little creations, same as all the animals also deserve to have a good, healthy and happy life and I’m really doing my best to be there for them and their needs.

There are more people like me here in Varna who dedicate their life to help and support the homeless animals but this is far from enough to cover the whole region. There are no charities, shelters or rescue centers as in many other countries.

By providing help you are becoming their life saviour. They have nobody but us and we as humans must be grateful for their existence as it creates love and compassion in our hearts.
