Vasantha Wilfred Memorial Fund

Vasantha Wilfred went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Sunday, June 11th, 2023. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was a very caring and compassionate person who reached out to many who were hurting as an overflow of her love for Jesus.

We have set up this GoFundMe to allow anyone wishing to donate in honor of Vasantha to support her dear friend Semona Michael who lives with significant life challenges. She was faithfully mentored by Vasantha over the last two years as they walked through similar life journeys.

Semona is a young wife and mother of two precious little boys ages 10 and 8. She has been on a 7 year journey fighting a brain stem tumor that is critically located. The Michaels serve with Global Aid Network, a humanitarian branch of Cru.org. They're self-funded and need help with her care. The Michaels have used up all their savings to provide life-saving treatments for her. Semona’s husband desperately moved his family from Mumbai to Australia as she needed more intense treatment for her survival. They have no private insurance and Medicare only covers a part of her treatment.
