Vaughn Family / Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Friends at Illinois Central Bus Garage in West Frankfort are asking for help in raising funds to give to the Henry Vaughn Family as they begin recovery from a devastating fire last evening, March 28.
Henry is a life-long resident of West Frankfort and spends most of his time reaching out and helping anyone he knows is in need.Today, he needs our help!
While transporting our school's track team home from a meet, Henry pulled over to let the fire trucks pass by. Not knowing what he was about to face. The fire that ravaged through the Vaughn home took the life of Henry's wife, Gaye. She was home alone. The home was a total loss and Henry has been left with literally only the clothes on his back. This morning, just hours after suffering such a horrible loss, he showed up at work to fulfill his resposibilities. That is just the kind of person he is. Always thinking of others...even when he is the one who needs a prayer.
Please, if you can spare a dollar. We would appreciate any thing you can do to help him prepare for funeral arrangements, recovering lost clothing, household items, or anything he may need to get through this difficult time. Financial burden is the last thing they need to worry about now.
If you cannot help financially, please send your sincere prayers for healing to begin.
Thank you for your generosity.
