VB Patel Car Accident Recovery

Our colleague and friend VB was in a terrible auto accident on June 13th and was airlifted to the GTA.  He suffered non-life threatening but debilitating injuries including a broken pelvis, soft tissue damage to his entire left side, and paralysis to his left arm and leg.  He is now out of the hospital and being taken care of by family friends.  The next few months will be a turning point.  He will need many hours of physiotherapy and constant care in the hopes his body can repair itself.  Although his spirits are high and he hopes to return to work as soon as possible, he likely will be out of commission for the foreseeable future.

 Some may or may not know that VB worked long hours doing two jobs to support his family overseas, and his brother here in Canada.  His income has now been reduced significantly; likely for an extended period of time.  His medical expenses will grow, his rent still needs to be paid, and his family is still counting on him. We’re setting up this GoFundMe to ensure VB has enough money to do just that. 

If you know VB, you know he is a generous man, always giving of his time and energy to help others.  It’s our turn to help him. All funds received will be given directly to VB to do with as he needs.  If you can, any donation would be appreciated; either a one-time donation, or something ongoing.
