Monty's Surgery

Monty needs surgery. I had him in to see the vet today (9/15/15) we found out that he has a tumor that is likely on his spleen.  He is very uncomfortable, gassy (which is kinda funny actually) and bloated. Along with all this, he has also gained 12 pounds in the last month, which is about 15% of his body weight. 
Monty is not a young dog, but he's also not ancient. What he is, undoubtedly, is my best friend. 

Back in Febuary of 2005 my girlfriend and I decided to visit the Humane Society, which is always dangerous, and we came home with a 1 year old (approximate) Labrador/Rottweiler mix. Since that day he has been the center of our world. My father told me that having a dog is a lot like having a kid, except they listen better than children, and we found this out firsthand. Ten and a half years later, we've got three beautiful children running around our home, and Monty is still the center of everything. 

Yesterday (9/14/15) we had our youngest child at Children's Hospital for surgery, and then today we discovered that Monty needs help too. 

From my conversation with Dr Tracy at the Vet Clinic, Monty's tumor is likely benign, but it is huge. Probably close to 8 pounds. Though it hasn't spread to his lungs, liver and heart, it could still end his life by just being so large that it ruptures. 

To compound everything, today's visit maxed my credit card. I need to help him QUICKLY and there is no way for me to do so without help from YOU. Please, help me help my big-guy, he's very uncomfortable and in pain.
