Hello I am Ana Swisher, some may know me as Ana De Los Angeles. I am the proud wife of Christopher Scott Swisher. We have two children. Our daughter Chanel 12, and our son Isaac who is 9.
On April 10th while sitting in our kitchen we received the most devastating phone call. As I stood next to my husband I was able to hear the Dr. say "the bone marrow biopsy shows there is cancer". The flood of emotions were more than I could handle. Chris was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer which has metastasized to his bones. My husbands aggressive cancer will take his life within six months to a year.
As a child my husband was deprived of love. Although this has followed him into adulthood, Chris hugs and kisses his children every chance he gets.
I am launching this Go Fund Me Donation Campaign as a result of my husband's prognosis.
As a registered nurse I do not believe in chemotherapy. My goal is to take my husband to Oasis of Hope, a world-renowned alternative medicine hospital in Mexico. The cost is $30,000 for 3 weeks. The additional donations would be used for travel expenses, unforeseen expenses, and my inability to work.
My faith in God has given me the strength I need to move forward. I believe all things happen for a reason and I am content with God's will. I want to take this moment to Thank each person that reads this. May God be with us all.
